📰 I’ve been at The Washington Post since 2020 and I  am currently a senior news designer with the climate team, working on digital projects and art direction. I work on pieces from their early stages of ideation to wireframes and mockups to development and publication of the final products. I love to work with artists to craft unique methods of telling stories and experiences.

In my time at The Post, I’ve worked on a little bit of everything, including digital projects, art direction, illustration, special digital and print sections and daily and weekly print design, including A1/A-section, Sunday Business and other daily sections.

🎓 I attended Ball State University (chirp chirp) and graduated with a degree in journalism graphics.

🖥 I previously worked with GateHouse Media (now Gannett) on the digital innovation team, de//space, where I built digital experiences and custom graphics to supplement in-depth storytelling. I also spent a summer with PATTERN Magazine in Indianapolis as a designer.

🗞 At Ball State, I was the creative director for The Ball State Daily News. I was also the art director for Ball Bearings Magazine.

🥾 When I’m not working, you can find me hiking, scuba diving, or traveling.
