PATTERN Magazine
Design intern (2020)
I spent a few months over the summer of 2020 interning with PATTERN Magazine in Indianapolis. I collaborated with photographers, stylists and art directors on editorial design as well as external clients on social media design and branding. I also worked in-house to create promotional content and helped create a special publication highlighting artists of murals painted across the city following the summer’s protests fighting for racial justice.
Murals for Racial Justice
The Project:
Over the summer of 2020, the Murals for Racial Justice Project emerged in response to the nationwide unrest following the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. The project involved over 20 local artists, each taking on a mural in a different location in downtown Indianapolis. PATTERN photographed their work and I created this booklet to commemorate the artists and their work.
Editorials
Print and digital editorial design.
Frittle social media design
The project:
I was tasked with creating a social media marketing plan by designing posts that integrated with Frittle’s existing brand style.
My role:
I created all illustrations, sourced photos and brainstormed relevant and timely content that was presented to the client on a monthly basis.

Google ads campaign
The project:
PATTERN wanted to expand their presence online through a Google ads campaign. The magazine’s brand and personality had to shine through on a limited canvas, so consistency and conciseness was important.
My role:
I was tasked with creating static and animated ads to match Google’s requirements. The team ended up landing on two sub-campaigns: One two increase subscriptions and another to increase sales of individual current and past issues of the magazine.
